I recently wrote a little tune in response to the Gulf oil spill and posted it here. I was quite surprised when it received over 1500 downloads in a matter of a few days. Many people sent me kind words through emails and comments on the web page. I was honestly surprised and humbled by the response.
I then sent out a request for photos so I could create a slide show of people enjoying the beaches around here, and WOW I received a big response! Thank you to everyone who sent in these great pictures! Unfortunately, I was not able to include some photos because of low resolution and for that I am sorry. I hope you enjoy the slide show.

I have so many fond memories of growing up on the Gulf that I can’t wait to recreate with my own boys one day. Don’t give up on the Gulf, we can save it!

The pictures are great with the music. I have enjoyed watching more than once. I thank our Lord that the oil spill has stopped. I know we all need to keep praying and hoping for this to be the end of the spill. Looking at all these beautiful pictures of the joy that the children, young and older, are showing as they enjoy the water and beach you want to keep praying for hope that everything will come back together for our beautiful coast.
